Service Overview
From 18 November 2025, Companies House requires all company directors and Persons with Significant Control (PSCs) to complete digital identity verification before registering a company or appointing new directors.
As a licensed Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), Smart Formations is authorized to conduct these checks and issue the Companies House Personal Verification Code, an 11- character identifier confirming an individual's eligibility to act as a director or PSC.
Existing directors and PSCs must also complete verification by the time of their company's next confirmation statement filing (or, for PSCs, within 14 days of any relevant change) following 18 November 2025. Our secure service helps directors and business owners fulfill these new statutory requirements efficiently and confidently.
